Read more is Now Available on Blogger

If you are not updating your blog for quite a long time, you might not notice the new feature added to Blogger.com. The new feature is the most requested "Read more" function requested by a lot of bloggers using Blogger.com.

Now, we have "Read more" functions in our Blogger.com account. As you can see from the picture at the left, by simply clicking on the "insert jump break" button, you can break your long post into two parts and create a "Read more" link after you have published the post.

But before you can use the function, you will need to enable it at the "Setting">>"Basic" as shown in the picture below:

After you reach the "Setting">>"Basic" page, scroll down to the bottom mos of the page and you will find the options as shown in picture below:

Select the option "Updated editor".

You can now enjoy the new function at your "New post" page. Hope you can follow the simple steps and enable the new jump break function. Adding "Read more" to your blogger's blog can help to organize your posts and make them look tidy.

Now, we no longer need to use the Hard and Old Method to create Read More function on our Blogger's  blog. So, Enjoy the new function.

This is a good question because building relationship with other bloggers is an important aspect of blogging. I don't think anyone will want to have a blog that no people want to visit. If this is the case, then I don't think blogging will be a great thing to do.

So, what are some of the method to build up relationships with other bloggers around you? Please read on and I will show you how to do it.

Techniques and ways to build up relationship with other bloggers:

1. Commenting on blogs
This is obviously the most powerful and effective way to start knowing bloggers around you. You can go to find blogs using Google Search Engines and find those blogs that you are interested in. You can leave some comments on those blogs and start making new friends. Sometimes, it is wise to leave your blog URL so that they can come and visit you.

2. Leave your words in their chat box
This is a another simple way to start a conversation with the bloggers around you. You can leave a message in their chat box and start to chat on topics you like, soon you will become their friends and you will build up relationship with other bloggers that are using the chat box too.

3. Doing Review Exchange
This is my new idea but I'm sure it will work best. You can ask for review exchange from other bloggers. You will write a review of their blog and in exchange they will write a review post for your blog.

4. Link out
Linking a blog is another great method to get other bloggers coming to your blog. They will be very happy to see you linking them and in return they will link your blog too. This can be a very effective way because they will be very happy to interact with you. Would you like to link my blog? I would love to link you back.

5. Social bookmarking
Social bookmarking plays their role to help you build up relationship with other bloggers. You can help them to Digg their posts and StumbleUpon their posts. Instead of doing Digg and StumbleUpon yourself, why not helping them and let them help you back?

6. Join the Forums and discussions
This is an old way but faster way to build up relationship. You can meet a lot of bloggers in forums and discussions. The best part is that most of them are having the same interest like you. You can easily make a lot f friends in the forums but you need to be active to keep in contact with them

10 Simple Tips To Build Inbound Links

Inbound links are links you build in your blog. You might notice that some bloggers include some links after every posts they write. Some might referred those links in their blog as "Related posts" and so on.

Building inbound links in your blog is an important factor to build up your blog's backlinks. The more backlinks you have for your blog, the higher ranking you can climb in Search Engines, Alexa rank and Technorati rank. Inbound links are one of the methods of Search Engines Optimization (SEO).

**Remember: Do not create inbound links blindly, if you create a lot of inbound links(I mean too many inbound links.), search engines will notice it and ban your blog from their search result.

I have some (10) simple tips for building inbound links:

1. Using forum:

Find forums related to your blog and join the discussions. Be part of the discussion community. Then, create your signature along with a proper signature that links to your blog.

2. Add comments at other blogs:

This is an effective ways too. You can put a link back to your blog's post. This can help you get some backlinks.
Notes: Do not overdo this because you will be considered spammer.

3. Articles Directories:

Submit articles to article directories and include a link in the resource box and author biodata.

4. Online Blog Directories:

There are plenty of Free Directories on the internet. So try to do some search in Google, you will find some good directories. Eg: DMOZ

5. Social Networking:

Join social network like StumbleUpon, BlogCatalog and so on. This can help you to make more friends and make your blog appear in front of others.

6. Ask for links exchange:

Kindly ask for links exchange with other Bloggers. More links exchange means you get more backlinks and thus help makes your blog popular.

7. Leave some words in Blogs with Chat Box:

You can also leave some simple sentences in blog with Chat Box. Chat Box will ask for your Blog URL, so type in correctly. This gets you another backlinks.

8. eBay:

If you have an eBay account, create an “about me” page and include the link of your blog.

9. Create an icon:

If you are good to create icons, you can create a simple icon for your blog. Show the HTML code in your blog and let people share your icon in their blog. This way can help you get backlink too.

10. Contents Optimization:

Create good contents and the best is to create contents that ask for your reader's opinions. Create contents that can communicate with your readers.
