Windows 7 Shortcut keys:

1.  Win + UP Arrow --> Maximize the current window

2.  Win + Down Arrow--> Restore down or minimize current windows

3.  Win + Left Arrow--> Dock the current window to the left half of the screen

4.  Win + Right Arrrow--> Dock the current window to the right half of the screen

5.  Win + [number]--> Activate and run the program pinned on Windows 7 Taskbar, running program wont be affected

6.  Win + Home--> Minimize all but the current window

7.  Win + Space--> Makes all windows transparent so you can see through to the desktop

8.  Win + Pause/Break--> Open System Properties

9.  Win + Tab--> Flip Aero 3D [press Tab to cycle between Windows]

10.  Win + B--> Move focus to notification tray (the right-most portion of the taskbar)

11.  Win + D--> Show/Hide desktop

12.  Win + E --> Windows Explorer is launched

13.  Win + F--> Search

14.  Win + G--> Bring all gadgets on top and foreground

15.  Win + L--> Lock Computer

16.  Win + M--> Minimize all windows

17.  Win + P--> Open the projection menu (generally used for laptops connected to projectors)

  • Click on Start Button > sittings then click on Network and dial-up connections option, here you can dial your internet connection.

  • Another way to dial your internet connection if you have a shortcut to your internet connection on your desktop. Simply boot your system and dial your internet connection from your desktop shortcut.
  • A new cool tip to dial internet connection with out using the mouse, simply add a shortcut key that will allow you to do this.Just right-click on your Internet connection and go to Properties option. Click in the Shortcut Key box and then press a key combination that you would like to use here like (Ctrl-Alt-I). When you have a combination you like, click OK. Next time no need to use mouse to run your internet connection simply use this shortcut from your keyboard, you can just press your shortcut key combination (Ctrl-Alt-I) to launch your Internet connection.
