New Features in Google AdSense

Few days ago, AdSense had added new feature to Google AdSense. Now, all AdSense Publishers can enjoy the new feature called the "Resources" tab.

Look at the picture below, the new AdSense feature. You can find it in your AdSense Account too. Click the picture for a larger view.

The Resources tab include a lot of articles and optimization guides to better performance of Google AdSense Ads. The new feature is very useful and you can find a lot of information regarding problems and troubleshooting of Google AdSense Ads. Check it out today and read more about Google AdSense.

AdSense launches Video Ads

Few days ago, AdSense launches the new Ads unit called Video units. This means the AdSense Publishers are now able to publish video Ads on their blogs and earn money using the video units.

This is a great feature because it not only add interactive feature to Publisher's blog, it also helps Publishers to make even more money from Google AdSense.

The bad news is that the video units are currently available in certain countries only. I'm not sure which countries have this feature available but in Malaysia, video units are not available yet.

Hope it will be implemented to all countries all over the world so that all AdSense Publishers can make more money from their blog or site.

Check your AdSense account today and go to the "AdSense Setup" tab. See whether there is "Video units" available. If yes, don't hesitate to try it out.

AdSense Referrals 2.0 Available

Now, go to login your AdSense Account. Then go to "AdSense Setup", click "Referrals".

You will notice that AdSense For Referrals is now available in Referrals 2.0. Search for the relevant product offered by Advertisers and make more money from Google AdSense.

AdSense Heat Diagram For Forums

The diagram on the left is the Ads placements suggested by Google.

If you own a forum and you are using Google AdSense in the forum, you can use this diagram to guide you to place the AdSense Ads on your forum.

***My Experince: Ads that is place above the fold are performing GOOD but Ads that is place inside the contents of your site perform the BEST!

Good News: AdSense Referrals 2.0

Google AdSense is launching new features for all AdSense Publishers called Referrals 2.0. So, what is the new excitements are we going to see in the new features, let's check it out.

Some of the new features and benefits of AdSense Referrals 2.0:

• Expanded product inventory: Some of us here find that the referrals products of Google AdSense doesn't suit the topics of our sites. So, the new referrals features will have thousands of products from AdWords Advertisers and we (AdSense Publishers) can choose from a wide range of products and place it on our site.
  
  
• Category and keyword targeting: It is impossible for us ti browse through the products lists and search for the suitable products for our site. Google AdSense makes it easier for AdSense Publishers to find for suitable products to be displayed. So, Google AdSense give us the option to refer products by category and keyword. We can narrow down and let AdSense to figure out which ones will perform best on our site.
  
  
• Ad unit optimization: It can be tricky to pick the best ads for your site, so a special features called ad unit optimization for referrals is included. When we setup the referrals, we can simply click on Pick best performing ads option. AdSense will then compare our selected ads to other relevant ads, and serve the ads that is expected to perform best on our site.
  
  
• Better targeting for pages with multiple themes: With standard contextual targeting, ads may not match up directly or completely with the text around them if there are a number of themes or topics on the page. With Referrals 2.0, we can select unique “keywords” for each ad unit to narrow the Ads and target directly to the theme or topics of our site. With better targeting, we can get even higher earnings for our site.
  
  
• Greater compensation for high-quality traffic: Since referrals are paid on a cost-per-action (CPA) basis, traffic to our site really matters. If the traffic we send to advertisers is more likely to turn into a completed sale or lead, we will earn more with referrals.
  

To get started with Referrals 2.0:
1. Go to the AdSense Setup tab in our AdSense Account, then click Referrals.
2. If you don't see Referrals 2.0, check back a few days later.
3. The feature will gradually become available for all AdSense Accounts over the next few weeks.

AdSense New Ads Styles

AdSense is going round (not really round ;-)) Now, you can try out the new border with round corner. Simply login to your AdSense Account and go to "AdSense Setup". You can choose the new "Slightly Rounded" or "Very Rounded" border of AdSense Ads.

Hopefully this new look can help all AdSense Publishers to earn even more money from Google AdSense.

My Personal Opinion: If we can use these new Ads shapes correctly with the correct placements, it can help us to increase our AdSense Earnings.

New AdSense Policies Updates

Google AdSense has once again updated the AdSense Program Policies. There are several good news and bad news.

The good news are:
1. We can 3 link units on our site(s)/blog(s).
2. As usual 3 AdSense for Contents on each pages.
3. A maximum of 2 Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
4. Up to 2 referral units from each referral product or offering may be displayed on a page.
5. No More MFA(Made For AdSense) sites.

The bad news are:
1. The AdSense Ads are only allowed on Content-based-pages.
2. No AdSense code may be integrated into a software application. (So, you can't test your websites in your websites building softwares.)
3. No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant. (Is this means DOOM for personal blog with AdSense Ads?)

It seems like AdSense Ads are back again. Last night, all AdSense Ads changed to PSA(Public Service Ads). All the ads are changed to Charity Ads.

In my opinion, AdSense is having an upgrading process to AdSense mainpage. This maybe the reasons of PSA last night. Today, everything is back to normal. It is good to have AdSense Ads back.

Handsome New Look:Google AdSense

Google AdSense Homepage has been changed. Now it looks very handsome and attractive.

Google Apps Referrals

With Google Apps, Google have taken Google's most powerful communication and collaboration tools, and packaged them together. This will help businesses, schools and other organizations work more effectively while spending less time and money on IT systems.

Google Apps provides customized email addresses (powered by Gmail), Google Calendar, Google Talk, Docs & Spreadsheets and Page Creator, all for free. Best of all, everything is hosted by Google, so there's no hardware or software to download, install or maintain.

So how do these referrals work? Just visit the AdSense Setup tab in your AdSense account and click the link for Referrals. Select the Google Apps option and then choose how you want the referral ad to look on your site. (The Google Apps referral ads are available in English right now, but we'll be adding more languages soon.) Copy the code provided into the design of your web pages, and voila!

You will be credited $5 when someone clicks the referral ad from your site and signs up for Google Apps with a domain that has not already been signed up for the service. That person's domain must then have one or more Google Apps email accounts in use for four consecutive weeks. It's that simple.

You have Got Mail!

Google AdSense has upgraded the AdSense account with mailing service. You will find "Recent Mesages" in your AdSense Account when you login to your account. Google AdSense will send customized optimization tips to every AdSense Publishers. The optimization tips are provided to Publishers after Google AdSense system analyse the your account and your ads setting. An optimization message will be sent to your account every month to help you improve your ads performance.
